SBD Combination Units
Manufactured in accordance with our tested PAS23/24 specification.
Combination units bring together doors and frames in a single or sectional
component. They can be made as a single frame where size and weight allow, or longer units
in sections for joining on-site.
We can manufacture an enhanced security combination doorset. Side screen(s) can be solid
panels or window casements, having direct glazing or opening sashes.
 
Construction
- Doors and frames in European redwood or hardwood
- Doors can be inward or outward opening
- Mobility thresholds or conventional cills
- Casements hung on heavy duty stainless steel friction hinges
- Finish – Primed/base stain/fully finished micro porous paint
Hardware
- Espagnolette multi point locking or single point locking for doors
- Opening sashes have 4 or 6 point espagnolette locks and push button
locking handles
- Euro cylinders to Grade 3 EN1303
- Lift-off hinges
Glazing
- Fully glazed / part glazed / site glazed with external rebates and beads, or internally beaded
- Fixed lights are direct glazed or fitted with dummy sashes
- Standard – 6.4mm laminated / 6-16mm cavity / 4mm Low E toughened glass
- Optional increased thermal efficiency glazing
